EQ (Emotional Intelligence)

EQ (a.k.a. “Emotional Intelligence) measures your ability to sense, understand and effectively apply the power of emotions to facilitate high levels of productivity, communication, and collaboration.

EQ has two primary dimensions:

  1. Intrapersonal EQ – your ability to effectively manage your internal emotional state.
  2. Interpersonal EQ – your ability to effective manage your interactions and relationships with others.

Each of these dimensions has the following subcategories.

  • Interpersonal EQ consists of Self Awareness, Self Regulation, and Motivation.
  • Interpersonal EQ consists of Empathy and Social Skills.
