Austin, Texas (February 24, 2016) – The Controller of a food and beverage company hired Steven Fies, President & CEO of ThinkPlanLaunch, to coach him through a pending merger and acquisition. He discovered ThinkPlanLaunch after purchasing one of Fies’ books on Amazon.com.

The Controller is uncertain if he will have a job when the merger is complete. He is okay with that outcome, though, because he feels “(Controller) is a burnout position.” Nearing the end of his career, he wondered if it wasn’t too late to explore a job better aligned with his talents and interests.

“I wouldn’t agree that any one job is absolutely a ‘burnout’ position,” said Fies, “but it may very well be a burnout position for any given person. We all have unique talents and skills, and it’s hard to utilize them or feel fulfilled if your job doesn’t match them. It’s never too late to explore a better match.”
